The South Island’s Northern Brave Women and Central Hinds will meet on the field in what promises to be an epic battle of the ages, on Feb 3, 2023, at 9:30 PM UTC. The two sides have fought every year since 2023 and have developed a fierce rivalry. On one side you have the Northern Brave Women who have traditionally struggled to put together a full squad and at times played matches with just 12 players on the field.

The Northern Brave Women took on the Central Hinds in a hard-fought battle. The game was tight and at one point, it seemed like the Central Hinds were about to take control, but in typical fashion, Abby Johnson came through with a home run and shut them down. After that, it was all downhill for the underdog women as they continued to score runs.

It’s been a long time coming, but on February 3rd, 2023 the Northern Brave Women will take on their rivals from the east, in what has been dubbed The Battle of the Ages. The rivalry between these two teams dates back to 1993 when they first faced off for a game. Since then, there have been so many wonderful memories and unforgettable moments that it is hard to narrow it down to just one.
The Northern Brave Women and the Central Hinds have a long-standing rivalry, with each team winning as many games as they lose. The last meeting between these teams resulted in a win for the Northern Brave Women. Will this be another nail-biter or will one team emerge victorious?
